By inviting OnlyOneMessage or using its functionality, you agree to this Privacy Policy. As mentioned in our Terms of Service, this policy may be updated at any time, including additions, removals, or edits to how data is handled.
Note: This policy applies exclusively to the hosted instance of OnlyOneMessage maintained by Monobyte Studios. Self-hosted instances are operated independently and are responsible for their own data handling practices.
To ensure OnlyOneMessage functions properly, we collect and store the following data:
/config and /configchannel commands.The information collected is used exclusively to operate and improve OnlyOneMessage. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. All data handling is limited to what is necessary for the bot's functionality.
We retain collected data only as long as needed for the bot to operate. Temporary data, such as Member IDs, is automatically deleted after a maximum of 1 month. Usage telemetry is anonymised and discarded once the bot session ends.
All data collected by the hosted instance of OnlyOneMessage is securely stored in MongoDB, a trusted and industry-standard database system. Access to this data is restricted to Monobyte Studios developers responsible for maintaining the bot. Although the stored data is non-sensitive, we still take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access or data loss. No method of storage or transfer is entirely risk-free, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
OnlyOneMessage is open source and may be self-hosted under the AGPL-3.0 license. Monobyte Studios has no visibility into, or responsibility for, any data collected by self-hosted instances. If you are using a self-hosted instance, please contact that instance's operator regarding their data practices.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. To remove all data associated with your server, simply remove OnlyOneMessage from your server. This will immediately activate an automated deletion of all associated data. You can also contact us via our Support Server or at legal@monobyte.studio.
This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally to reflect new features or legal requirements. When updates occur, they will be announced in our Support Server under #announcements and on the GitHub releases page. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will also be updated accordingly. We encourage users to review this page periodically to stay informed about our data practices.
